Dr. Janis grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She attended the University of Iowa for both her undergraduate studies and dental school. Dr. Janis was the Director of Clermont County Pediatric Dental Center and the Women's Infant and Children's Clinic in Ohio early in her career before opening Janis Dental in 1994. Dr. Janis is passionate about providing quality dental care tailored to each patient's unique needs in a warm and comfortable environment. Dr. Janis is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and the McHenry County Dental Society. She enjoys attending continuing education courses to expand her skills to offer the best treatment possible to her patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Janis spends her time enjoying nature, traveling to visit her children and grandchildren and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
